All new Securities-Backed Line of Credit (SBLOC) applications must now be submitted through the TALEA® loan automation platform.

TALEA (pronounced ta-LAY-a) is a secure, intuitive platform that streamlines the SBLOC application and origination process from start to finish.
How to access TALEA
- Log in via Kestra’s AdvisorComplete using the single sign-on link.
- Navigate to New Account Applications.
- Select Create a New Loan Application Package.
- TALEA will guide you step-by-step through the application process.
Paper application option
- Log in to TALEA and complete the required information.
- In the Document Completion section, choose Print and Mail (You will be completing the loan package on behalf of the borrower. The loan package may be saved in a PDF format for you to deliver. The borrower will be required to physically sign each loan document.)
Application & approval process
- The financial professional, or admin initiates the loan application in TALEA.
- Once submitted by the financial professional/admin, TALEA routes the loan application to the client for approval and signature.
- Upon submission to the bank, the bank begins the underwriting process.
- If additional documentation is required during underwriting, your client will be contacted directly.
- Once the SBLOC is approved, your client will be notified.
After approval
- Your client will receive two welcome communications (sent separately for security):
- One containing their User ID
- One containing their password
- These will include step-by-step instructions for accessing their account online
- Monthly statements will be generated if the SBLOC has an outstanding balance. Click here to see a sample.
